I hold a BFA in guitar performance from CalArts and an MA in philosophy from University of Tartu. I completed Robert Zoller’s advanced course in Medieval Astrology in 2016. I have been recently certified in Logic Based Consulting (by the NPCA), which is a form of philosophical counselling that examines narratives and their effects on thinking, emotions, and behaviours. I have been studying and practicing astrology for some 15 years. After a long sojourn into various forms of classical/traditional astrology I have returned to my beginnings as a humanistic astrologer, which means that in my practice I primarily draw from the thought and teachings of Dane Rudhyar, and that I use astrology solely for the purpose of helping people understand themselves and find meaning in their lives. Thus my approach to astrology is counselling based and explicitly not fortune telling. I am concerned with narratives and meaning and how these affect the life of the person coming for a consultation. I have studied the following forms of astrology: modern, psychological, humanistic, hellenistic, medieval persian/arabic/european, uranian, vedic/jyotish. I have published for The Mountain Astrologer and several other journals (most of them online).
