  • Identity Data: Name, email address, and profile images.
  • Transaction Data: Purchase history and subscription status. Note: We do not store full credit card numbers; these are handled securely by Stripe.
  • Session Data: Chat logs, video session metadata (duration, participants), and async questions.
  • Chat History: We store the full text of your conversations with our AI chatbots to provide you with persistent history, personalized insights, and "memory" across sessions.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

  • Calculate planetary positions and generate reports.
  • Connect you with Astrologers (who receive your birth data to prepare for sessions).
  • AI Training & Personalization: By using our AI features, you consent to the use of your chat logs and chart patterns to:
    • Train and improve our astrological models.
    • Generate personalized summaries ("Cosmic Journals") and insights.
    • Detect life events (e.g., transits) to offer relevant products or services.
    Your personal identifiers (name, email) are stripped before any aggregate training use.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Send you service updates and (if you opted in) cosmic newsletters.

4. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers. We share data only with:

  • Astrologers: When you book a reading, the astrologer receives your chart details. Note: Astrologers are independent and bound by confidentiality, but we cannot physically prevent them from retaining notes.
  • Service Providers: We use third-party processors and infrastructure providers such as Stripe (payments), Firebase (hosting/auth), Daily.co (video), and OpenAI/Google (AI processing). These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the Platform.
  • Business Transfers: If Mystic's Mirror is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • Legal Requirements: If compelled by a valid court order.

5A. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, maintain your account, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and prevent fraud and abuse. If you request deletion, we may retain certain records where required or permitted by law (for example, payment and tax records, security logs, and dispute history).
