Timing of Wellbeing Seasons

The Essence

Wellbeing is not always experienced as random noise; it often moves in seasons. In traditional frameworks, certain planetary periods correlate with times of higher sensitivity, lower capacity, or deeper rest needs. The astrologer does not diagnose conditions or predict outcomes—they map timing so the client can choose steadier routines, slower pacing, and better support.

Classical Verse

"Roga-sthana-gato vaapi roga-esha-dasha-kramat... (Phaladeepika). Translation: Health-related challenges are traditionally discussed in relation to the Dasha of planets connected to the 6th house, the 6th Lord, or planets conjoined them."

Modern Translation

Technically, timing in this tradition is often framed as a 'Double Trigger': 1. Dasha (The Era): The Dasha/Antardasha of planets connected to the 6th (work/routine), 8th (pressure/transformation), or 12th (rest/retreat) houses can correlate with periods that feel more demanding. 2. Transit (The Trigger): Slower transits (like Saturn or Rahu) over sensitive points can intensify the theme. Special Note: Some schools also watch specific stress points such as the '22nd Drekkana' as a marker for more intense periods.

Practical Insight

The 'Tula Daan' (Balance Donation). A traditional practice during a high-stress season is to weigh a representative item (like the client's clothes) against grains, sugar, or salt, and donate that equal weight to the poor. This externalizes the felt 'weight' of karma into an act of service.

Go Deeper

Check your current Dasha Lord. Is it connected to your 6th, 8th, or 12th house? If yes, check the transits. Is Saturn currently looking at your Ascendant? If both are true, this is a season for maintenance, not expansion.
