The Essence
In every Prasna chart, there is a Protagonist and an Objective. You cannot read the whole chart; you must focus only on the relevant actors. If you are asking about a job, looking at the 7th house of marriage will only confuse you. Precision is power.
Classical Verse
"Tajika Neelakanthi: 'The Lagna Lord represents the Prcchaka (Querent). The Lord of the House signifying the matter represents the Karya (Object).'"
Modern Translation
To judge a Prasna, you must identify two planets: 1. The Lagnesha (Lord of the Ascendant): This is YOU (or the person asking). Its strength shows your ability to achieve the goal. 2. The Karyesha (Lord of the Objective): This is the 'Thing' you want. Relationships: 7th Lord Career/Promotion: 10th Lord Wealth: 2nd or 11th Lord Illness/Litigation: 6th Lord Children/Speculation: 5th Lord If the Lagnesha and Karyesha are friends and placed in good houses, success is assured. If they are enemies or in 6/8 positions from each other, struggle is certain.
Practical Insight
Strengthening the Lagna. If you find that in your Prasna chart, the Lagnesha (You) is debilitated or combust, it means you are not ready for the result, even if the result is good. The remedy is to strengthen the Lagna Lord of the moment. If your Lagna is Libra (Venus) and Venus is weak, wear white or donate sugar on Fridays to build the capacity to receive your desire.
