Classical Verse
"Prasna Tantra: 'The number of degrees between the Lagnesha and Karyesha indicates the time units, modified by the sign nature.'"
Modern Translation
To time an event, calculate the difference in degrees between the Lagnesha (You) and the Karyesha (The Goal). Movable Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn): The result is fast. The degrees indicate Days. Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius): The result is slow/stable. The degrees indicate Months. Dual Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces): The result is medium. The degrees indicate Weeks. Example: If Lagnesha is at 10° Aries and Karyesha is at 15° Aries, the difference is 5°. Since Aries is Movable, the result manifests in 5 Days.
Practical Insight
Speeding up Saturn. If the Karyesha is Saturn, delays are inevitable even with good yogas. To compress the timeline, you must perform 'Kala Hora' remedies. Donate iron or sesame oil on Saturday evenings. By voluntarily giving up 'Saturnian' substances, you reduce the 'Wait Time' tax that Saturn levies on your desire.
